Mr. Sperans is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Management, Inc. where he has been employed since 2001. Previously, Mr. Sperans was an entrepreneur, founding or co-founding four businesses, including two marketing automation services companies (TeamToolz and Nimblefish Technologies) and a New York-based private advisory firm. Prior to that, Mr. Sperans was a senior consultant of Bain & Company. In this capacity, he advised both public and private companies on strategic, financial and operational issues. Mr. Sperans received dual BAs with High Honors from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
